During the second stage of the Knowledge Cluster Initiative, we will work toward the advancement of plasma nanotechnology and utilization of nanomaterial technology and device technology at key junctures. This will facilitate the development of surface functionalization technologies and photonic and power device material technologies. R&D will be carried out in order to promote the use of environmentally-friendly advanced materials and processing technologies at the core enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises that support the economy of this region.
We aim to create an advanced plasma nanotechnology science research foundation in this region by planning the cooperation between research groups in order to expand synergistic effects and to achieve integration and expansion of knowledge. We intend to achieve this aim by commencing the Expansion Program aimed at international cooperation in the field of advanced plasma nanotechnology and by promoting a global interpersonal exchange of ideas, which will add to the current knowledge base.
