Our foundation was established in 1994, and has supported and promoted science and technology activities in the region through collaboration and cooperation between industry, academia, and government, based on the exchange of a wide range of researchers and engineers.

Since 2012, we have moved our base to the "Aichi Knowledge Hub" which is being developed by Aichi Prefecture, where we are responsible for various collaborative research activities in science and technology and the operation of the Aichi Synchrotron Light Center, a cutting-edge measurement and analysis facility, and are working to support research and development of advanced, high-value-added manufacturing technologies.

This region is home to one of the world's leading manufacturing industries, with many medium-sized and small enterprises supporting the foundation of manufacturing and playing an important role in driving the sustainable growth of the local economy.

Currently, as technological innovations such as AI (artificial intelligence) and IoT are changing the structure of industry and society, there is an increasing need for new business development based on research and development by medium-sized and small enterprises. We believe that the role of the Science and Technology Collaboration Foundation, which aims to create innovation and contribute to the development of science and technology, is greater than ever before.

Our foundation will always see things from the same perspective as medium-sized and small enterprises, strategically promote collaboration between industry, academia, and government to create innovation, while inheriting and developing the results we have cultivated thus far and contributing to the development of science and technology in the region. We ask for your continued support and cooperation.
